Originally a two storey semi-detached house constructed by Cooks in the 1950s and enlarged by way of a loft conversion at a later date.

The property has been occupied by the current owner for many years and is now being sold with no onward chain. In our opinion the property is in good condition throughout and has been well maintained but is old fashioned and therefore requires some updating.

This is a particularly popular area, not far from the University and within the catchment area of good state schools as well as close to local grammar schools.

There are bus services in the area which provide access past the Royal Berkshire Hospital into Reading town centre where there is a mainline railway station with fast services to Paddington and also services to Waterloo which run through the nearby Earley railway station.

The M4 motorway can be joined either at Junction 11, where there is also the A33 south towards Basingstoke, or at Junction 10 where London then lies about 40 miles away and Heathrow Airport about 28 miles away.
